PearPC is at such an early stage, developing an OS in it would not be the best idea, I think :-) I would feel robbed paying more than E200 for a 366 or so iMac, so I'm sure some of the interested parties could afford to buy Axel a middle aged Powerbook or iBook (600-700, something usable) second hand if he wanted it. Apples price cuts have suddenly destroyed the once high residual value of Mac machines - the days when someone could charge you E700 for a three year old machine are gone as a brand new one is E849, shipped. That said Apple Germanys site seems a fair bit more expensive than the Irish one for some stuff, which could be keeping the machines second hand values up there...
