Any contract that improves Haiku's existing functionality and makes it
more stable and usable is interesting, for sure...
I don't have a lot of personal experience with the state of the media
kit, so I can't really chime in on the importance of your proposal.
It's probably time that we stand back and re-evaluate what is
preventing Haiku from truly moving into Beta again. I think we need to
encourage more that gets us there - but if nobody is
proposing/requesting contracts related to that goal, then I'm not sure
we have a lot of choices in which contracts to accept.
