I think that we are experiencing some sort of a momentum right now due to the
existence of the
deadline, so why cut it off at its peak and not make it last a bit longer?
Also, some additional
input on this topic would be great.
Hi,
The deadline is set because we have to ship the release. This means a final
week of testing with
no changes to the image itself except for critical bugfixes. There is of course
still a lot to do
in Haiku, both for translations and on the code side. But don't worry, there
will be other beta
versions incorporating the changes.
So, no, we can't shift the deadline. It was set for good reasons. But there
will be other releases
and the changes can be incorporated there.
