I second every thing that Adrien pointed out, in the sense that the
deadline serves the purpose to get the release out. While I really do
appreciate all the effort that has gone in to go for a last minute
scramble, I think it is fair to say that there has been enough notice
on this mailing list. Having said that, it is not too late until it is
too late.
Just two additional points:
1. Many users will use nightly builds. after we finish the beta2
cycle, the translations will be updated weekly into the nightly
images. The work can continue and deliver value to those users.
2. At the moment it is unclear whether there may be more time after
the 22nd. If you look on dev.haiku-os.org, there still are blockers,
critical issues and high priority issues. It may be decided that some
of those need to be fixed before we release.
