Not that I know of, but the recipe definitely has to be updated. AFAIK
it should never point to head though, but to a specific commit.

Maybe you could make a PR to the Pe repo?
No, this change really doesn't make any sense; we want to build against
the public PCRE headers for a specific version. Pe depends on pcre, so
pe-develop depends on pcre-develop.
