What about planning or writing a draft copies of some of the missing
pages in the User Guide?
The main area where the documents are missing are in describing the
applications included with Haiku. Here they could also take
screenshots of the missing applications, including all of the
application's various windows.
Here is a list of missing applications in the User Guide:
Mail
MediaPlayer
MidiPlayer
PackageInstaller
ShowImage
SoundRecorder
TextSearch
TV
Web+
If it fits into the scope of the project (maybe outreach), then some
of Haiku's pages on wikipedia need some love. For instance, Poorman's
page only says "PoorMan is a simple web server bundled with the BeOS
[sic] and Haiku". The pages for Tracker and BePDF are a bit better,
but still need some help as well.
