I actually meant that one could define defaults for the string
specifiers, ie. leave out the ":Window:ActivityMonitor" altogether, and
when it's missing, use something like ":Application:<Name>" to look it
up.
Omitting the line by default completely, and let 'rc' then create the
attribute from the app's signature automatically would work nicely as
well, I'd guess.

IIRC yes, but I'm not 100% sure.
