Sorry but I don't understand your reasoning.
Why should BFont::IsFullAndHalfFixed() be kept unimplemented, if it's
defined in the API and useful, for applications which can handle
single/double width fonts ?

Well, then the second commit must be reverted.
I understand why on paper this is the case, but it seems to me that in
practice, applications which do not handle this properly will probably use
only ASCII characters, and so using a full-and-half-fixed one is probably
fine. Part of the reason the commit exists is because Noto Mono, the fixed
font, is deprecated and has not been updated in a long time.
