 Vulkan changes nothing here. The kernel-level drivers have been modified
 to support Vulkan in Linux, but this just means they have slightly
 different IOCTL interfaces. Otherwise the demands and requirements are
 exactly the same as before. There is no difference on RISC-V either;
 X512's experiments with a custom driver for Vulkan work on x86 too. The
 same amount of work is required as before.
