glad your kitchen is done, easier to manage now, as to nasty person saying that
to you he should try wearing your shoes so to speak, when someone knows how you
have to deal with daily living and the obstacles it bears, they still could
never know how frustrating inside you are.

Hi, Vanessa;
First, the kitchen is OK, thanks!
Second; I'm glad you enjoy Christmas - so do I! Like you, I live alone.
However, I'm usually busy with church activities.
I hate the commercialisation of the season, and all the rubbish that surrounds
the Christmas story. I can see why it's done, but every time I see a Nativity
play my blood boils - cos that's absolutely NOT what the Bible tells us
happened!
As for the bright lights; well, this tendency for folk to have the outside of
their houses and gardens illuminated REALLY bugs me. I have no night vision,
and, if I'm walking a known route at night, and those flashing horrors
disorient me, it can actually make me lose my way - or even worse, my footing.
A couple of years ago, I was walking past a garden, when a Santa Clause fixed
to the gate lit up and an American accent yelled "Merry Christmas!" I fell,
wrecking a pair of trousers, destroying a long cane and badly spraining my
ankle. That meant that I was confined to the house for three weeks over
Christmas that year.
I 'phoned the police, who made the idiot who had put the thing up remove it. He
actually came to my door and called me a blind b*****d, party-pooper, and
threatened to wreck my long cane if he ever saw me using it again.

Is it possible to create a programme that removes all references to Christmas
until a little nearer the time?
For example, 6:00 pm on December 24th?

cheap and easy to make.

you need.
a clean empty jam jar and lid or similar jar.

a little bit of glue.

buy some christmas cake decorations like little plastic snowman, house, tree
etcetera.

glitter.

to make.
glue the christmas cake decorations to the lid and leave to dry.

put glitter in the jar.

three quarters fill the jar with water.

put the jar lid on.

turn jar upside down and shake.

children will love them as they watch the glitter fall down on the christmas
decorations.
