Good evening all. I had a good dance as always. Here's the big disappointment though. It wasn't a buffet after all. It was Christmas cake and mince pies and the only thing they had to drink was wine oh dear not good from my point of view but at least it was good for the others. What a good job I took my flask of tea and 2 kitkats on mum's advice since we didn't really know what there was going to be to eat. We knew it wouldn't be like the buffet at my blind clubs as at the dance they not quite as well organised as that. Ah such a shame but at least I had a good dance that's what matters. I won a big bag of mini mars bars on the raffle so that all important medicine for me and also this diary with a pen which my mum loves ideal for her so I did well. I was given a present by Ray and Pat which I didn't open I'm being very good for a change haha. I'm saving it for the big day not long to wait now. It feels like a box of chocolates. I got lots of cards too. Oh yes another present I got from another dancer was a tin of fruit drops sweets my dad loves those so will share them with him. We start back at dance on 10 Jan so a long break but at least my clubs and dance start back on the same week so much better. For tea it was some chicken legs that luckily my mum had bought from town and that aero mousse and later some orange segments so my medicine in a big way. Hope all had a good day. Carol I'm so happy you are now feeling so much better and taking it easy. Oh no worries about sending in your messages in memory of Christine I was very happy to do it for you and that I was able to help. It certainly made me feel very useful. I will help you with anything as you already know of course. Yes I still have my present and card Christine sent me and will treasure it. The air dry clay she sent me has all gone now though as had to use it before it went dry. Malcolm, oh I loved your line up of us all very good and clever. Yes it's certainly been an eventful year for us all. My prize of a chocolate quilt sounds good enough to eat and is so cosy it will make me even more lazy than ever as well as giving me my medicine in a big way. A donkey for our Phyllis to carry all her rugs a very good idea but her sending it back to you as it caused so much havoc reminds me of that 12 days of Christmas story I sent in. Oh very funny. I wish you and all on here a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. Love Clare
