I had a great time yesterday with the sweeping of the Pirates. I’m kind of
guessing that Brian was glad he wasn’t at the game to listen to our BS. We
lucked out with some seats in the shade and a nice breeze. Relaxing day with
frequent laughter & Joe Morgan memories.
And thanks to Kevin we have a September lunch dick!

Tommy called just now & is to have a 3 or 4 artery bypass later today. His
father had a similar procedure in the 1980s. He is at Atrium hospital in
Concorde. He sounded weak but pretty good.
I’m sure his sister will update us ASAP.

artery bypass but not sure of procedure yet. His sister is to let me know ASAP.
Send some good vibes, hopes & prayers his way !

I had a client that liked to travel to Jamaica because the Rastafarians had a
great vegetarian cuisine that stood on its own without trying to
mimic/impersonate meat like American vegetarian. Always thought it’d be fun to
give it a try. I’m glad to eat veggie and animal flesh, both… and am trying my
way back to regular fasting. Was a sight easier 45 years ago, haha!

I have tried the Impossible Burger and I loved it. Janice has been cooking more
veggie meals, especially when we see Kyle, Kim, and Knox. She has done some
amazing things with tofu…which I was ready to hate. Love it now the way she
prepares it. It’ a balance, which has never been one of my strong suits!

They want me to quit drinking and stop eating red meat and bacon…I AIN’T DOING
IT!!!! There’s got to be a better way? Yes no way to stop drinking bourbon
BUT….red meat and bacon, you can get rid of and survive, I guarantee it.
Have you tried a Beyond or Impossible burger? I invite you to try one of those.
Sold in the frozen food section. Cook it just like you would when you make your
usual ground animal muscle tissue burgers. maybe 15min. to a side and dress it
like you would once done…..very filling and delicious. Most people’s meat
cravings are for nutrient/protein dense foods. Non-meat Tech kitchens have come
a long way in the past 40 years.
Here’s an article about what people like about meat pretty interesting how
complex the experience is. https://www.wired.com/story/the-impossible-burger/
