On Sunday, with light wind & nasty weather heading up from the south, a short course upriver to "A" & back was signaled. The first leg started on a reach but soon the wind veered to a run. Recovery moved out to a comfortable lead she would not relinquish. As the boats neared "A," the wind backed and freshened to 10-12 kts making for a fast second leg. Soon the Jolly Roger was broken at Recovery's spreader. With the nice breeze & the bad weather staying away, it was a great day to be out on the race course!
The next race will be this Sunday, 2 October, with a 1210 start. Hope to see you out there!
Thanks, Steve
