[gps-talkusers] computer not recognizing brailleSense as storage device and pc gps license

Hi all,
Owing to issues where my braillesense is not being recognized by my computer
as a mass storage device via USB, I was thinking of installing pc gps onto
another computer in order to try out the automatic installing of sense nav
2013.
It only appears to be my computer that is not recognizing the braillesense.
I have had a sighted friend look at things on the computer end, and have
tried on other laptops owned by friends and all works as it should be on
their pc's, but I only get results on my computer when I turn off mass
storage device mode. Once that is turned off, the folders and files come up
and I can at least still copy files to the unit.
If anyone has suggestions on how I might fix this issue, suggestions are
welcome, but my main question to this list concerns pc gps licensing. Say
down the track when I use up my 3 license keys on 3 computers and they all
crash and there is no way to recover the license or uninstall the program
beforehand, how would I go about renewing my license?
Kind regards,
Andrew

Just a note: This process only works for BrailleNote and Braille Sense
V2012 and later.

regions, which took a considerable amount of time. Then, I put a
sufficiently large SD card in the card reader of the PC. I followed the
instructions on the PC maps program on the PC and the program took care of
the rest. It copied and installed the entire deal on the SD card and it
worked from the Apex when I put the card in and ran the GPS software install
and put in my license number. Jim
