I'm afraid the URL I gave wrapped, so make sure it ends in
dot aspx
However, I have now downloaded the demo of Finale 2008, and
in the File menu, there is a "MusicXML item". If you select
that, you then have two choices, Import and Export. (Export
will be greyed out unless you have a file open)
Unfortunately I can't go further as the demo won't allow
saving.

the feature reside, but meantime...
According to the following Finale web page, Finale 2003
upwards includes XML Import/Export. With Finale 2000 -
2002, it was a separate module.

File menu and the launch window. Unlike MIDI files, MusicXML

this option of
XML. Do you know why? Does Finale require a special plugin
for it?
