Hi Mayank.

Thank you for your feedback and welcome to GNUKhata family.

I don't think that what ever you said was rood.

The thing is that voucher interface needed some indication as abhijith pointed out so it will be there in just a few days.

Secondly, the latest GNUKhata version 5 has lots of commercial grade features.

We have the GST compliant invoice and delivery note.

We now have credit and debit note.

We also have a purchase order module and there is the sales and purchase registers.

We also have a GST summary report and bill tracking against receipt and payment has already been there since ages.

We are working on a manual right now.

The release has come with a huge number of features so it is taking time to make this manual final.

Our most efficient hard working project manager Ms. Prajkta is busy compiling video tutorials which she has started to upload on youtube.

We are planning to start a series on the same.

Regarding your participation.

It is not a favour as you said.

It is some thing which we always welcome and highly encourage.

It is beneficial to every one.

We don't essentially need only developers/ programmers.

Domain experts, accountants, business professionals every one is welcome to participate.

We wish to not just make a good software to replace proprietary ones but also a participatory platform for every one involved in accounting/ inventory management.

And yes as usual programmers are always welcome.

Let us know what is your area of specialization?

Regards.

Krishnakant.

I will try to look at the software with a positive attitude.
I need one more favour- how  can I participate in this project. Please guide me.

Another user had similar concern. GNUKhata allows more than two
lines of entry. It has been doing so ever since it was made. The
problem is, I think the lack of a 'PLUS' sign at the end of the
row that explicitly tell user that you can add a new row. We are
    adding it soon.

    How to do it?

When a DR entry is made the amount is copied to CR side also. This
way CR and DR tallies. If you want to make another entry just
change the CR amount or change the row from CR to DR. After
entering the amount in the relevant field press Enter. A new row
    appears.

        Dear Sir,
I am following your software for last one year. I am having
        some queries as follows:
        1. How can I pass the entries which has more then 2 Line items
(Dr or Cr). I found that system is allowing me to pass entry
        wth 2 line items( 1 DR & 1 CR)
        2. Are you developing this software for commercial
environment? Because we are not yet touched level upto tally 7
