1st of may is more the Worker’s Day than the Labor Day, it is the day for
dignity in the worker;s place, the day for respect toward workers, for good
salary, for human conditions, for security, for safety.
Just today there are workers in Congo who are working for 10 Dollars per month
and dying in mines in order to collect material for our cellular phones.
Millions of child workers are doing insane works in Africa, Asia and Latin
America like slaves. Female workers receive about 30 to 60 percent less salary
than males for the same work even in the “first world”, the majority of workers
are not allowed to be associated in syndicates. Just to mention a few... 1st of
may has nothing to do with the its demagogic use by Bonapartist or cynical or
Stalinist or Fascist regimes. 1st of may is democracy, protective laws for
workers, respect, justice...

Thank you very much for your wonderful poem-congratulations!
May 1 is a Labor Day in a traditional calendar and in the GHA calendar - Love
Day. But they are inseparable in harmony values: labor is love and love is
labor and both are impossible without peace, demanding peace and only possible
in peace!
I am happy to congratulate the GHA members and our friends with triple holiday
- LABOR-LOVE-PEACE in the unity of HARMONY and wish everyone that this holiday
was eternal at everyone on Earth!

will not happen
without a strike.
May First is Labor Day

except in the USA.
In other countries people
will go to applaud
workers parading on streets

are closed for the holiday.
Now there is a demand for
an increase of the minimum wage.
The union provides the force.

public support will force
the corporations to pay more.
