Let’s review the HC & GC views.

 

HC

says the stars are all considered fixed, inc. the Sun. They all have actual motions in space, but are too far distant for their small radial and proper motions to be noted w/o professional equipment. 

The star trails produced by the earth’s rotation about the N-S poles would all be circles with sidereal day periods …. If the cosmos were geocentric.   The earth’s revolution in solar orbit produces an additional seasonal N-S shift (due to the 23⁰ axial tilt) in the trails of nearby cosmic objects in the solar system.  

The distant stars in the Milky Way move N-S annually , just as the Sun and planets do, but their angle of oscillation is not 23 degrees, but millions of times smaller: their  angle is inversely proportional to their distance.   For stars in near space, the annual shift is of the order of mas – milli arc secs.

This of course is stellar parallax, visible only to astronomers. One stellar parallax is visible and obvious– the Sun’s. 

 

So you are correct, Neville, that the E-W star trails should be influenced by the earth’s annual revolution, but only the Sun’s modified star trail is visible to the unaided eye.  

 

GWW shows that parallax measures motion relative to a reference point or line, which is assumed to be at rest.  Parallax can’t be used to establish absolute  motion, because of the fixed reference point assumption. The MS claims - that parallax proves HC - are arguing in a circle, assuming true what is to be proven.

 

HC cosmic motions are never actual, but only appearances due to the earth’s rotation and revolution.  We see nothing as it is!

 

GC

says all the celestial motions are as observed – without correction - and caused by the invisible firmament, composed of a hierarchy of rotating and inflowing aether vortices.  All objects are in the sidereal vortex, but local whirlpools cause clustering to form binary pairs, star clusters and galaxies…. and the solar system vortex, centered on Sol.  All local gravity and inertial fields can be explained as a local aether vortex.   The Sun and Moon are in the earth’s vortex, but the stars have two options within the neoTychonian model.

1.    The stars can be centered on the Sun (Scripture  neither supports nor denies this) , explaining the observed stellar parallax as due to the Sun’s orbit of the earth.  In both GC and HC, then, parallax is due to the offset of the observer from the center of stellar rotation by 1 AU.

2.    The stars can be centered on earth, and the individual parallaxes are attributed to the specific aether vortex of each star (He knows them all by name).

Note that parallax is used in HC to determine stellar distances. If aether is causing parallax, then stellar distance is independent of parallax angle, and MS doesn’t know the near star distances.  Also note that MS can’t say that parallax determines distance unless they can show that distance variation is the only possible cause for parallax.

Empirical science has no “proofs” for its theories,  only lack of disproof from all supporting experiments, which gives a certain level of confidence, but never absolute certainty. This is true for HC and GC as well.

CMB dipole 1996

NASA’s COBE satellite sky-mapping project revealed a dipole temperature anisotropy in the cosmic background radiation (CBR), indicating that the solar system is moving through this unique inertial frame at approximately 390 +- 60 km/s in the direction of Leo. In the Cosmic Microwave Background rest frame this is one part in 800 (0.13%) of c and more than 10 times the Earth’s orbital speed.

If the Cosmic Microwave Background fills the universe then its rest frame must be the absolute frame forbidden by relativity. Why isn’t the Big Bang recession of galaxies at much greater speed than the dipole speed detected in the Cosmic Microwave Background?  What makes the cosmic expansion speeds invisible? The dipole shows that the galaxies are not receding but are basically at rest in a radial direction and the Earth is at rest, with the Regulus group  approaching us. There is a preferred orientation in space, as only seen from Earth. The universe has an absolute reference system, debunking relativity theories; the cosmological principle is disproved. The Cosmic Microwave Background dipole was totally unexpected and still unexplained by theorists.

Nodland and Ralston 1997

A statistical computer analysis of astrophysical data shows a systematic rotation of the polarization plane of radio waves depends on the waves' direction and travel distance. The effect is extracted independently from Faraday rotation, and found to be correlated with the angular positions and distances to the sources. Monte Carlo analysis yields probability 10-3 for the axis to be a random fluctuation. Dependence on redshift rules out a local effect. Barring a hidden systematic bias in the data, the correlation indicates a new cosmological effect.

Geocentrism view

"Indication of anisotropy in electromagnetic propagation over cosmological distances" is a well-done article reporting a systematic angle difference between the polarization of radio waves from distant galaxies and the long axis of the elliptical optical images from those galaxies. The polarization axis passes through the Earth from Serpens to Aquila, supporting the Earth’s central position in the universe. The observed axis is due to the aether flow.

WMAP data reveals anomalies at the largest angular scales (> 60°): -the vanishing of the angular two-point correlation function -under-sized quadrupole and octopole moments, both very planar and aligned -all minima and maxima fall on a great circle on the sky -the low multipoles are inconsistent with a Gaussian normal distribution  -they have strong correlation with the solar system ecliptic and the Cosmic Microwave Background -all patterns have a high level of statistical significance (>99%) - becoming more likely that the large scale microwave sky has a local cause.

Geocentrism view

So latest Cosmic Microwave Background analysis shows unexpected correlations of low multipoles with the ecliptic and galactic plane!   The measurement does not agree with the generic prediction of a random, statistically isotropic sky from Big Bang inflation theory.  Instead, there’s a totally unexpected Earth-centered symmetry for what should be a map of the cosmos, not of the local structures.  This finding is non-trivial, casting doubt on the standard cosmic interpretation of the lowest-l multipole correlations from the sky map temperatures. Uncertainty also surrounds the Big Bang claim that the first stars formed very early in the history of the universe.

Sagnac 1913	To detect the relative motion of the ether, Sagnac placed the Michelson-Morley apparatus on a constantly rotating turntable. He detected a clear non-null result – light speed depended on rotation – evidence for ether. The light source (a flashlight), the measuring device (an interferometer) and the photographic recording plate were all fixed to the rotating disc.
