I'm downloading GSAK now to see if it helps. Thanks!

  Not out of memory then.

I've often had problems trying to download to my 60cs from Easy GPS. I use
GSAK to avoid that frustration and I really like the advanced features of GSAK
for filtering and such.

Thanks I figured that they were showing up in both places for the reason
you stated.

How can I be out of memory? I only have 20 waypoints in the geocache file &
27 in the waypoints file. I shouldn't even be close to being out of memory...
:-)

Ok, is there something I should know about downloading waypoints? We're
going on a trip & i'm trying to download a bunch of caches but, it's
only allowing me to download 19 caches into the geocache folder. any
others that I try to send from easygps are not showing up.

Likely you have filled all of memory (inadvertently).

  Also the
geocaches I download are showing up undger geocaches & under waypoints
is there a way to stop this?

The trick is simple but not obvious.
(1) In the 60 setup, choose the appropriate geocache "symbol" you want
(default "chest" is fine)

(2) BEFORE downloading to the gps, highlight all of the geocaches, and
then change the symbol they are assigned so that it matches the one the
gps is expecting.

(3) When you finally hit the send to gps button, all waypoints that have
the geocache symbol associated with them will show up under geocache, and
all others will show up under waypoints. The geocaches will show up among the
other waypoints as well. They are waypoints, so they show up in the normal
list. The associated symbols let them also have special processing in the
geocaching specific functions, but for all other stuff, they are just plain old
waypoints.

If you are out of memory, then you may have to manually delete a bunch of
waypoints before you do the transfer.
