I always thought that using the "new location" mode and entering something
close to your new coords would help the thing figure out roughly where to
expect the satellites and get a lock from there. I'm guessing 15-20 min max,
maybe more like 10 min. It does need a good view though to see as many
satellites as possible for as long as possible so it can figure out which ones
they are and where they are.
