No problems with the WP's overlaying the maps, and no problem with maps
overlaying the WP's either. The maps, except for the included basemaps,
ALWAYS go on the MicroSD card, and the WP's ALWAYS go into the GPS internal
memory. Remember too, that 500 is the maximum WP's that can be stored in the
GPS.
But, it you want to use POI's (Points of Interest), they are basically
unlimited and go onto the MicroSD card. So the remaining space after the
maps are loaded is the determining factor for the number of WP's, which can
be in the tens of 1000's. But that a different animal.
