More about the trail (from the Mo Dept of conservation
brochure)

The trail is approximately 2 miles long and will take
you several hours to hike at a leisurely pace. The
surface of the trail is about 2 feet wide and made of
sandy soil. It is moderately difficult with some
short segments of steep grades and portions of the
trail become slippery when wet. The trail approaches
steep cliffs and bluffs, so please use caution and
stay on the trail at all times. Parents should keep
children under control.
