the problem with most waterproof containers is people don't always tighten
them and sometimes they could be under water for a long time.

I remember my first Lewis and Cache.  Denali predicted it would flood.  I
thought no way.  He was right.  But that cache was underwater for weeks and
it did not float away. I found it and dried it out.  But it sure did stink!
I ended up relocating it behind the levee.  But now you cannot get to the
monument for the first part of the cache where you figure out the second
part.  It's falling into the river and they have not got the erosion stopped
yet!  It is temporarily disabled!
