I read the log entries as suggested. As an avid hunter (bow and muzzle
loader), I am truly embarrassed by the stupid, disrespectful, and
arrogant actions of this person. Trust me, he's not a hunter. He's
just a redneck blowhard who's trying to claim squatter's rights to a
piece of public property.
I hope you'll replace this cache, because I haven't had a chance to find
it yet. You'd probably be wise however, to remove it during deer
season, as this clown probably hunts the same area every year, and he
thinks that violating other people's property is some big joke. I'd
almost guarantee you that this guy hunts from tree stands that he's
found in the woods, and stolen from real hunters.
A geocache has virtually no affect on deer. On New Years Eve, I logged
in Four Tree 44 Cache, that had gobs of fresh deer sign all around it,
and on New Years Day, I logged in Ghosts, then hid behind a tree with my
grandson while we watched a whole group of deer come into the area. A
nice buck actually bedded down about 40 yards from us.
I'm very sorry that this has happened, and I hope that those of you who
don't hunt, will not take this incident as being representative of
hunters in general. It absolutely is not.

It is sad that some people think PUBLIC land is reserved for hunting ONLY. I am glad that I have private land that I hunt on and don't have to deal with idiots like this guy...
