Except for those folks that do not have the ability to work such complicated navigating devices, the gps111+ is a nice GPS. if anyone wants to give me their old beat up, dont work no more, 3+'s lemme know :-)

I cached with a Street Pilot for quite some time. Ya REALLY have to take a compass with ya when using these two GPSR's for geocaching.

glenn :-)

I've had a 3+ for over a year. I found 250 caches with it, but it was hard.
I agree 100% with your interpetation of it's performance. It work great in
the car but foot navigation can be difficult. Kono has a 3, no plus and he
has the same issues too. A few montha ago, my 3+ became unusable for
setting up geocaches. Ask anyone who hunted the 8 kiddy caches at the spring
picnic. I now use the basic yellow etrex model and have found it to be a
nice caching gps.
