OK, a couple of questions...

Once a cache is disabled by the owner, how long do we have to fix it?

If someone posts an Archive note on someones cache, does that count as a 1
note?

Since it is only a 1 note cycle, does that mean you will archive it if you
don't hear back, or will you archive it regardless after the first note.

Today, I enabled 3 caches that had 4 no finds or more. Each cache was there,
logs dry. I was afraid I was going to get
a note disabling the cache from you guys because one was over 1 week. The
Shed took me 2 weeks to get the parts I needed to replace it.
I know you said there would be exceptions, I'm just imagining that people
will just archive it rather than deal with it if the time to fix it is
shortened
too much.

Mike

I have a long story but i am waiting for it to come back from the
editors.

DISABLED CACHES :
Long story short, we will no longer have the customary "Three note
cycle" in dealing with disabled caches. The cycle will move to a ONE
note cycle. I have seen other reviewers use a 2 week cycle. Two
weeks seems a little short to me. It takes me longer than that for
find my GPS.

Typically, people that maintain their caches do so very quickly. Those
that don't repair quickly never do. I could wait for 6 note cycles
and it will not make any difference.

Caches that are victims of forces beyond anyones control will be
archived and can be renewed when the problems are resolved.

There will always be exceptions and we will deal with them when they
come up.

See, this was nicer than the 4 pages I started off with.

Pass the word.
