Laura, yes, a wasp spray will kill them. Make sure you spray them in the
evening as they sort of go dormant then and soak the area real goo. Bernie

K-Team and I are heading to the area North of Springfield Decatur IL
Tuesday. There are loads of new caches all in nice neat lines about ¼ mile
apart. We hope to get at least 75. (knock on wood). We have room for one
more in the car for the marathon. So let me know if you are interested.
K-Team is going to pick me up at 5 am (and I am going to sleep on the way
up!) and get back around 11 pm. So if you want to go, you will have to meet
K-Team somewhere before 5 or be here at 5.
