Great point. One of the conference speakers was a guy from Snyk:

They have a tool that looks at your repos and lets you know if any of your
dependencies have security issues.

I'll just add, this is the fx.php group and JS is very similar to PHP in many
ways, so anyone here should not have fears of JS.
A caveat is to not make your usage "brittle". Don't rely on the JS to which
you link to be there or be up-to-date (or secure):
