 We should be able to improve the configure error message to give a
hint about the solution, and to add a Mac specific note to INSTALL.

Have built successfully, and re-pro'ed the bug with the alien ruleset.
Does that bug still need work? I could work on it. First problem I see -
the 'make install' fails to copy the folder
'...share/freeciv/alien/nations', instead copies the files from that
folder into '...share/freeciv/alien'.

 That should be fixed.
