Just a photo of a recent acquisition to share a bit of knowledge. http://www.parkvillepen.com/images/kraker/dixie/greenmarbleset.jpgJust acquired this DIXIE set in the box, with price bands that provide some new info. The FP is full length slim model identified as a "D21" with a Fine nib priced at $1.50. It has the expected DIXIE, NON-BREAKABLE, LIBERTYVILLE, ILimprint. The pencil is identified on the band as a "D10" priced at $1. The imprint is on the cap and reads around the circumferance in 3 lines "DIXIE, MICHAEL-GEORGECO., LIBERTYVILLE, IL"The cardboard box is generic except for the DIXIE label inside. Nothing on theoutside at all.Michael-George Co. was operated by George M. Kraker at Libertyville, IL fromlate 1928 to about 1932 or early 1933.
