The InFusion Control Edition has the ability to configure an I/A systems control engineering. The InFusion Foundation Edition does not have the ability to configure an I/A systems control engineering. If the customer was using InFusion in an ECS format with an I/A system they would want to have access to the new editors to configure their I/A system. = If the customer does not have an I/A system they can still get all of the InFusion Support and Engineering from the IPS organization to enable their ECS system without any I/A content. -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Johnson, Theodore (Ted) S Sent: Wednesday, October 17, 2007 12:19 PM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [foxboro] Infusion CE vs FE? I'm a bit confused. The Invensys Global Product Support (GPS) website documents reference two versions of the InFusion Enterprise Control System (ECS) -- Control Edition v1.0 and Foundation Edition v1.0. What is the difference between CE vs FE, and why would you choose one or the other? = = _______________________________________________________________________ This mailing list is neither sponsored nor endorsed by Invensys Process Systems (formerly The Foxboro Company).
