You might also like to consider Event Driven Scripts. It can pickup
system monitor messages and take actions based on them. This can include
sending e-mail once you have it setup.
FoxPage is EDS plus the PageMate software from Systemetrics. This is a
very powerful and modern package that can page, speak, dial phones, and
send e-mails.
Both of these are available through your IPS account representative and
the PSS should be available from BuyAutomation.com.

Over the years I have noted many mention that they have e-mail
functionality set up within their Unix AW's.
I'd like to set up the system for ourselves as well - letting us know of
system alarms as they occur.
I would really appreciate some instructions and directions or perhaps
even a reference to a document that would guide me though this set-up
process.
