Is the cloned box an exact p-code? Video cards are the biggest culprit. Especially if the First machine was dual head and the clone box isn't. Box boots looking for the driver because there is a device for it in =2Edev directory. -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ken Heywood Sent: Thursday, January 18, 2007 9:24 AM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [foxboro] Cloning Sun Box I seem to have run into a problem cloning an AW51E with backup tapes. The clone crashes. Do I need exactly the same hard drive as the original machine in order to load a backup tape set to a clone? If so, does anyone have experience cloning systems with different hard drives? =20 Best Regards,=20 Ken Heywood=20 Process Control Services, Inc. =20 =20 -------------------------------------------------------- =20 This message (and any associated files) is intended only for the=20 use of the individual or entity to which it is addressed and may=20 contain information that is CONFIDENTIAL, subject to copyright or constitutes a trade secret.
