Glen...your P92 box description is confusing. OPC Server software 3.3 is the latest. P92 AWXP. Is it running I/A 7.1 software? P92 running I/A 7.1 is your stumbling block. Your P92 has to be a V8.x host to host the ATS. ATS requiring a V8.x host has been broadcasted since day1. -----Original Message----- From: foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:foxboro-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Glen Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2006 3:24 PM To: foxboro@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [foxboro] CLAN to ATS ...., again I just wanted to bring this up again since I am trying to replace my CLAN modules with this new "fangled" ATS modules and mesh network. *History:* I have a "simple" two-node IA system with two AW51C's on each node. I have a P92 "AWXP" running OPC station software 7.x. *Problem: *You can't use the OPC AW to host the ATS modules as we were lead to believe. You have to add a real AW70 (P91 or P92) to host the ATS's. I just wanted everyone else to know this before they ordered ATS modules and switches. As usual, I had to learn it the hard way.
