By industrial standards, Visual Alert is 'cheap', can run on almost any 
Junker PC and does alarm retention but is still the familiar two line alarm 
information.  The BCT Visual Alert Companion reads the files captured by 
Visual Alert and presents them in a 'one line' format.  It was designed for 
'event analysis', that is, figuring out what went wrong and has some minimal 
analysis tools built-in.
