Well, you could do something like this: 1) Use dedit to extract the tags in each graphic 2) Create a text file with tag names in the first column and display name (full path) in the second. 3) Configure an unused button the CAD to run a script and pass to the script the C:B of the selected alarm and a DM name 4) Have the script grep the index file for the display name and use the AM command send_to_dm to tell the associated DM to change its display by sending it the appropriate DM command. B0700AT (various commands) and B0193RV (list of AM keywords) have the information you need to get the C:B and pass it to a script. All in all this shouldn't take very long to create. How can I configure a relationsship between display and compound:block for ALL displays that we have? The Foxpanel configuration is limited to a low number of buttons. This is acceptable for that specific case. But what can I do in the case where I want create thousands of relationsships between compound:blocks and displays? Or is it possible to configure virtual buttons within Foxpanel or within the source files? use case: The operator should be able to call up a display for every compound:block in the current alarm display.
