Is it safe to use Russian-based Kaspersky antivirus? No!
If you, or anyone you know, happens to use the popular (almost half a
billion users globally) Kaspersky Antivirus, there is a warning out to
remove it and install another alternative. This goes for a PC, iPhone,
or Android devices. The U.S. government banned the Kaspersky products
in federal systems in 2017, citing links to the Russian government.
No issues have been Identified yet, but the concern is that the Russian
government could use it for spying and hacking. Why take that chance?
