Dennis, I suggest, you try to run the System Manager from a different server, if you have one. If not, try to get a clean workstation, Windows 2000 or Windows XP pro, and install System manager on it, and try the same thing. I still feel it is the MAPI components for the System manager that is troubled. If it works from another server/workstation, you can try to re apply the Exchange SP on the server, and that might help you. HTH. To answer the replies: - Yes, the system account does have full account to MAPISVC.INF file. - No, I do not have Outlook installed on the exchange server. - No, I am not working from a workstation wit the Exchange Admin tools installed. I am logged on through terminal services directly to the exchange server and using MMC snap-ins to administer the server. - I will add extra loging... Good idea. Also, I noticed that I get the same error when I try to change the public folder security settings... Please verify that you have sufficient permissions to write to the MAPISVC.INF file. ID no: c103073a Exchange System Manager. In the Application log, the following entry is written: Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeSA Event Category: Mailbox Management Event ID: 9200 Date: 4/14/2005 Time: 4:24:00 PM User: N/A Computer: GSF-EXCH01 Description: Failed to perform MAPI logon. Well, I first checked the MAPISVC.INF file, but the permissions are not the issue, especially as I logged in as an administrator (with full exchange admin rights). Searching on google was not successful... I am running a win2k3 domain with an win2k3 server running exchange 2003 SP1. Does anyone has any experience with these errors, or knows how to solve them?
