I can telnet and verify from the front end to the back end on 80, 25, 691, 389, 3268, 88, 53, 135 and 1024 and above. Therefore, it makes me believe it's a configuration problem on the FE server. Have I stumped ya? -----Original Message----- From: Lara, Greg [mailto:GLara@xxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, October 13, 2004 2:44 PM To: [ExchangeList] Subject: [SPAM: Type H] - [exchangelist] RE: [SPAM: Type H] - RE: [SPAM: Type H] - RE: [SPAM: Type H] - RE: Online Defrag - Email found in subject - Email found in subject - Email found in subject - Email found in subject http://www.MSExchange.org/ If you're unable to get to it using the IP address or name, then it's likely a firewall configuration issue. As Al mentioned there's probably a necessary port being blocked.
