Anything interesting in the event log, IIS access logs, etc.. on both servers?

Do you have a preferred packet sniffer, if not, Windows has one
built-in, although there are lots of other more advanced ones out
there. Search google if you don't have one. Anyway, sniff the traffic
for more troubleshooting info.
