Hi Dave, If you are interested in setting up a query that points to a public folder, then below are the steps in brief that u need to follow: (the steps mentioned is applicable to any type of Public folder) 1> From ESM, open up the properties of that contacts Public folder. 2> Go to Exchange Advanced tab. 3> Click on Custom Attributes. 4> Select extensionAttribute5 (you can choose which ever extension attribute u like, but then change the filter in Step10 accordingly), and click on Edit. 5> Type "contact" 6> Click on OK, OK and OK....till u exist out of the properties of the public folder. 7> Now create a new Query Based DL. 8> On the filter select Customise Filter & click Customize. 9> Select the "Advanced" tab. 10> Click on Field -> Public Folder -> Custom Attribute 5. 11> Let the condition be "Starts with" 12> and under value type "contact" 13> Click "Find now"...... before hitting Find Now make sure that the search is set for the "Entire Directory". 14> You should now be able to see your contacts folder in the search. 15> Say OK. 16> And continue with completing the creation of the Query based DL.
