You appear to be confusing features.
OMA is a web based interface, much like OWA, designed for devices like
mobile phones and PDAs that have a limited functioning web browser and a
small screen. It doesn't require and support on the device, other than
the web browser.
The "Blackberry" like functionality you are referring to, which
synchronises the calendar, contacts etc is from Exchange Active Sync and
requires a compatible device.
To get the push functionality you need a Windows Mobile 5.0 device, with
the Messaging and Security Feature Pack installed and Service Pack 2 on
your Exchange 2003 server.
