Need Information Regarding Exchange Backup

hi all,
I am searching for an advice i,e Can we Give a secondary ip to my
exchange server so that if one network goes down the mails must
automatically route through other network. Please give a suggestion if my
idea is correct or not??or else suggest me the way so that i can go ahead.
I will be very much thankful regarding the help.
