Harish,
What firewall are you using? Make sure the publishing is pointing to the
new Exchange 2003 Server so it can receive inbound mails, also make sure
you have the MX records pointing to your exchange Public IP.
You can try to telnet your exchange server FQDN on port 25 and see the
response.

Hi All,
I have installed Exchange 2003 with SP1 and also AD windows 2003.
the problem i can send mail to other domain like yahoo,hotmail and
rediff but i could not receive mails from there.
our current Exchange 5.5 works fine we tried to install with out
mirgate or upgrade in Exchange 2003.
Any one can you help me.
