Access denied while moving mailboxes from 5.5 to 2003

Exchange 5.5 on Windows 2000 to Exchange 2003 on Windows 2003
migration. Error encountered in System Manager while trying to move
mailboxes from 5.5 to 2003:
Connecting to Source Server
0xc0070005
Access is Denied
Since the Administrator (thanks Microsoft!) account did not work, the
account being used:
- Has full admin rights in Exchange 2003
- Service account rights at the site level in 5.5
- Log on locally to DC's
- Is part of no additional AD groups
Any ideas?
