**** ETNI on the web http://www.etni.org.il http://www.etni.org **** With all due respect to the teachers who don't want to work on their day off, I believe this SHOULD be the day that you test on (and though the pay isn't great, we DO get paid for it). Last year was actually the first time that I had to take time off from work to test, but it wasn't a big deal because I only had 10th graders on that day and there was a grade-wide Hanukkah activity, so the assistant principal told me not to worry about it. I don't think it's that bad to be asked to "give up" your free day (for pay) once or twice a year. It's a lot worse to have to cancel lessons in order to go to another school to test.
