I agree completely with the comments about the difficulty of the Module C
exam. I do not recall seeing any previous Module C exam in which pupils
were given an open question asking them to give the writer's purpose in a
certain paragraph. At the very least, this should have been a multiple
choice question! Even good 5-pointers have trouble with questions
requiring them to state the writer's purpose. Need I mention that Module
C is part of the THREE point exam as well as the FOUR point?
Why do I get the feeling that there is not enough double-checking of these
exams before they are unleashed onto our pupils?
