We have just seen that a list of schools that will
receive discs in the bagrut has appeared on the
"anglit site".
http://www.anglit.net/main/docs/december06/listeningcdwinter2007.doc

At Ma'ayan High school we have written a number of
times to request CDs for the bagrut, and since
September we have been working with CDs ONLY. We have
converted ALL our bagrut tapes to MP3 files, and
basically we have moved into the 21st century!!

Today, out of the blue, a list of "selected" schools
suddenly appears on the English site. We are appalled
at the lack of support from those who decided to make
a "selection"! What was the criteria? Who decided who
gets what? Now what are we supposed to do with all
those LD students who don't have walkmen and will
(rightly so) not buy one.

To be perfectly honest, we are LIVID at the way
decisions are made without even giving any reasons! We
wonder if Riki Zakan, from the testing department, has
any idea what is going on in schools. We guess she
doesn't! We don't understand why the testing
department is not more supportive to the teachers in
the field.

Awaiting anxiously for you to come up with a solution
to this problem, because, to be perfectly honest, we
don't have one.

Maayan High School,
Kibbutz Ein Hahoresh
