I agree with you for the most part. Up here in the frozen tundra northland, anything but a really good insulated door is a giant cold sink, so it's pretty much a sectional door world. The roll up doors are a piece o cake to install tho. Paul and I are waiting anxiously to have the roof on, the chimney installed and a fire in the stove.- kickin back and enjoying, LOL Jim From: elky-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:elky-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Robert Adams Sent: Tuesday, November 09, 2010 2:18 PM To: elky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [elky] Re: pics of new elky = shop area.. Looks really good. That roof will be easier since you are having it precut for you. Still a pain but not nearly as much as doing it all yourself from stick lumber. I'd love to have roll up doors on my shop instead of regular garage doors. And there are several new ones on craigslist here for cheap but... You loose room and cover up lights with the garage doors. Since then I've been adding more staples, taping the seams, etc. Rafters and roof structure will -I hope- be next week. I got a phone call from the rafter mfg. this week where we went over plans for the structure and design. Spent yesterday getting the walk door in the 09 shed and today I'm hoping to get the sliding track board in place and the flashing bent and in place. Pics later.. Cold weather is on the cusp. Jim
