I know he works in Melrose Park, and he lives up your way. Just can't remember where. It's on my cell and I am getting up to do some work this morning. You could have seen it. JC The Mini is a blast. I have run in to several people that have them. The ones with a manual trans have had no problem. The only one I know with an automatic had problems at 60 or 70K. They can't be repaired, only replaced (CVT). I am enjoying the Pathfinder too. It's been a great car. I changed the valve cover gasket, and so far, I think that was my leak (not the head gasket like one service person suggested). Getting to the drivers side valve cover is more of a challenge. So far it's not leaking, and I think I will leave well enough alone. As for the check engine light.... I know it has 2 oxygen sensors that are 160K miles old. Are any brands preferred on those? there are a lot of choices with Rock Auto.
